The local night has hours no brochure explains: pregame starts at nine, bars fill at midnight, clubs open at one and the Saturday-night metro never closes. Mastering the clock is mastering the night.
The night's clock
Aperitif and dinner until eleven, first bar twelve to two, club two to six, churros with chocolate to close. Arriving at the club at eleven means an empty room and warm-up music.
Lists and online
Clubs cheapen or waive entry on a promoter's list until a cutoff hour and sell online cheaper than at the door. Find the day's event on the club's own page or the listing platforms.
