Clubs and discos
The Barcelona club opens in the small hours and closes at dawn: the big seafront hall with dancefloors over the water, the classic multi-room disco and the serious electronic basements of the Raval.
The three formats
The waterfront concert-club hall for gala nights, the classic multi-floor disco for groups and the small electronic club for serious late-nighters. Each opens and fills at different hours.
Tickets and lists
Entry gets cheaper on a promoter's list until a cutoff hour and buying online beats the door price; the magic free-entry hour exists but changes every season. The one o'clock queue is long: go earlier or later, never at one.
Water and the bill
Bottle service is the price of the chair and the company; at the bar, a drink costs capital-city money. Tap water is a right you sometimes claim patiently: the law is on your side.
